A hand-held magnetic locator that detects buried iron and steel objects such as property markers, valve boxes, manhole covers, well casings and steel drums. It senses the difference in the earth's magnetic field between two sensors and ignores non-ferrous metals like aluminium, brass and copper. Pistol-grip magnetic locator with 20-inch sensor spacing, membrane controls and a bar-graph display with polarity, in a tough ABS case.
